SOUTH PARIS — Bessie Alyce Hildreth, 94, of Sunderland Drive, Auburn, died Monday, July 16, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris after a five-day stay.

Bessie was born in Lewiston on May 12, 1924, the daughter of John and Stella Bezantakos Liarakos. She was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating from LHS in 1942.

Bessie married Anthony Hildreth in 1948. Tony passed in 2014.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Sharon who along with husband, Steve Bryant, provided her with a safe and loving home for the last five years, and by her daughter Marcia Hildreth and life partner, Linda LaDouceur, who acted as secondary caregivers. She was cherished by her grandchildren: Tony, Becky & Mandy Murphy, their respective spouses: Sarah Murphy, Marcus Slade & Trevor Crippen and her great-grandchildren: James, Tighe & Tucker Murphy, Cierra & Markie Slade and Fiona Bess Crippen.
