POLAND — The Poland Spring Preservation Society will be hosting Louis Philippe at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 30.

Louis Philippe is a versatile entertainer with more than four decades of music business experience. Phillippe has recorded eight albums and many singles in his recording career and produced more than 60 products released by Reindeer Records. His latest CD is entitled “The Funeral Singer — Songs for Comfort and Healing.”

Phillippe feels very blessed to make a living in performing arts. He spends much of his weekdays traveling throughout central and southern Maine bringing his brand of entertainment (cabaret style jazz, show tunes, oldies, standards, sing-alongs) and laughter with him.

Poland Spring Preservation Society will host free concerts every Monday evening throughout the summer. Concerts will take place outside at the gazebo at Poland Spring Resort, 55 Robbins Way. In case of rain, concerts will be held in the All Soul’s Chapel. All concerts are free and open to the public.

The Poland Spring Preservation Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that preserves, protects and manages the Poland Spring museums along with extensive collections of art, artifacts and historical memorabilia. The museums include the All Soul’s Chapel and the Maine State Building, which also houses the Maine Golf Hall of Fame. Also located on the property is the original Poland Spring Bottling Plant and Source building. These buildings are owned by Nestle Waters of North America and managed by the Preservation Society.
