LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library will mark the end of its summer reading program, Libraries Rock, with a celebration at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2.  Readers’ accomplishments will be recognized.

The book group will embark on a 10-part discussion series based on PBS’ Great American Read. The selections will come from a survey conducted by PBS that determined America’s best-loved novels. The first will be John Green’s “Looking for Alaska” at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9.

Preschool Story Time continues Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. with stories, activities and crafts.

The LEGO Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. This month, participants will be challenged to build a model of their pet or favorite animal.

The knit and crochet group, which has created slippers and yarn baskets, meets Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.
