WILTON — Recipients of Mt. Blue Area Garden Club scholarships were introduced at a recent meeting at the home of club president Tom Saviello.
Mt. Blue High School graduates Kaci O. Presby will attend Saint Joseph’s College and Ezekiel S. Robinson will attend the University of Maine. Each will receive a $500 scholarship upon successful completion of their first semester.
The next meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Louise Marcous’ terraced day lily and hosta gardens, 295 McCrillis Corner Road in Wilton. Those attending should bring a lawn chair, bag lunch, and a plant to swap. The meeting will be open to the public.
