Douglas Hall, of the State Department of Health and Welfare, will be the speaker next week at the regular meeting of the Auburn-Lewiston Kiwanis Club at the Auburn YMCA. A movie obtained from the Androscoggin County Fish and Game Association will be the program feature when the Auburn Exchange Club meets Tuesday at noon at Stekino’s Restaurant. Ralph Noel is program chairman. The clubs board of directors will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

25 Years Ago: 1993

The Women’s Aglow Fellowship International, Lewiston/Auburn Chapter, will hold its monthly fellowship meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Ramada Inn Conference Center, 490 Pleasant St. The speaker will be Bertha Chasse, a doll maker whose spiritual message is expressed through her craft. The dolls, which are created with disposable items, are used in her talk to reflect emotions, life directions and life-changing stories.
