Who is supporting Brett Kavanaugh, nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court? Democrats, Republicans, conservatives — even some liberals. Former clerks who worked for Kavanaugh all share similar descriptions of him, but they don’t all share similar political beliefs.
The themes that are consistent in their descriptions? Brilliant legal mind, love of country, a good and kind man. Those are the traits needed in a justice of the Supreme Court.
Those are also the traits that Sen. Susan Collins should have no problem supporting.
