Jim Wilfong can serve the people of Maine in state Senate District 18. Both as a Marine and a representative in the Maine House, he followed the motto “do your personal best and leave no one behind.” He will do that for his district and for rural Maine.

While in the Legislature, he protected home rule and Maine’s water, and helped write Maine’s bottle refund law. His committees included Natural Resource, Agriculture and the Select Committee on Forestry. He worked for rural businesses and veterans in state and federal level small business administrations. He also has taught business and entrepreneurial studies at Fryeburg and Lincoln academies and USM.

Of importance today, he practiced respect and civility while a representative He will bring that ethic back to Augusta where it is desperately needed by the politicians.

With his experience and integrity, Jim Wilfong will problem-solve for rural Maine.
