L/A Arts welcomes the public to the Art Walk Friday in downtown Lewiston and Auburn, which will feature live music in select venues along the walk. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience a wide range of musical genres and performers at no charge. As a complement to the rich array of visual art exhibits and venue receptions that characterize every Art Walk LA, this year’s series features a monthly live performance theme. 

The live music schedule for this week is:

Kafari & Jake Hoffman — rhythm bones, banjo, guitar, vocals; 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Dufresne Plaza, Lisbon St., Lewiston;

New England Jazz Ensemble — original and contemporary jazz; 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Festival Plaza, Main Street, Auburn;

Greg & Jessie Boardman — fiddle, including Downeast and Franco-American folk traditions; 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at L/A Arts Gallery, 221 Lisbon St., Lewiston; and

Kelly Caufield & Kevin Smith — jazz and blues standards, vocals and keyboard; 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Hardy Wolf & Downing, 156 Lisbon St., Lewiston.
