MEXICO — Region 9 Adult Education will offer open enrollment orientation sessions at 9 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 4 to 6.
New students or those who have not attended in more than three months should plan to attend two of the three days. For returning students from June, plan to attend one day. Sessions will be three hours.
Night school will run from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting Tuesday, Sept. 18. Enrollment will be Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 18 and 19.
Anyone who misses these times should visit region9.maineadulted.org for additional orientation sessions. The program offers classes to help get HiSET, a high school diploma and to improve skills for college or employment at no cost. Free bus transportation is available from Rumford and Mexico upon completion of orientation. For more information, call 207-364-2012.
