MECHANIC FALLS — The Town Council on Monday, Sept. 10, will hold a special session at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office to review items that were tabled from Monday’s meeting.

These items include approving the wording of a $724,311 bond for the relocation of the Town Office, the Police Department and library, and paying off the loan on the Town Office.

MINOT — The Board of Selectmen on Monday, Sept. 10, will hold public hearings at 6 p.m. at the Town Office for input on the disposition of the Engine 8 firetruck, use of impact fees for expanding parking at the recreation field, proposed changes to the Cemetery Ordinance, use of impact fees for final payment of the Orchard fire station expansion and changes to the impact fee schedule.

POLAND — A special town meeting/public hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13 at the Town Hall on amending tax-incentive financing agreements to allow selectmen to approve credit enhancement agreements, correct maps and add additional uses of TIF revenues as allowed by the state.

Three additional articles seek changes to the town’s comprehensive land-use code. The first deals with amending the Multi Family Dwellings and Planned Residential Developments Ordinance. The second article would amend the size of electronic imaging signs.The third would alter the category of a specific, single lot in the wetland zoning district on Middle Range Pond.
