FARMINGTON — The Farmington Youth Field Hockey League is coached by Jody Harmon, Mt. Blue High School’s varsity field hockey hockey coach. This league aims to teach fundamentals, refine playing skills and improve athlete’s fitness levels. It also educates them in the rules and basic concepts of the sport of field hockey. Current players from Mt. Blue will help in practices to aid in skills and drills.

Practices will be held at Mt. Blue High School on Saturday’s from 11-12:30 p.m. beginning September 8.

Games will typically be Sunday afternoons around 1 p.m. but times may vary. The complete schedule will be announced soon. Games will stay as local as possible depending on schedule availability of other teams.

Registrations will be taken at the Farmington Community Center now until Friday, September 7. You can also register the morning of the first practice on Sept. 8th from 11– 12:30 p.m. Cost for Farmington residents will be $25 while non-residents it will be $35.
