Walking

along pale pebbled beach

cool saline breeze

lone seagull screams

blue waves

ripple coastline —

all blur into now

under sun-high sky

Barefoot

over clastic rock:

pain

with each step forward

pleasure

with each step lifted

— superb duet

this journey

of moments

already arrived.
