PARIS — The Norway-Paris Fish & Game Association has received financing from Community Concepts Finance Corp. to buy 17 acres next to its clubhouse on Buckfield Road.

The association, founded in 1970, plans to use the property to “create ATV trails in tandem with safety and educational course offerings,” Natalie Beale, the assocaiation’s corporate underwriter, said. “Long-term goals include bringing archery to the new acreage.”

Beale said the amount of money is confidential, but “I can say that we do loans at a minimum of $1,000 into the millions, and that our average loan is about $47,000.”

The additional land will allow the association to “continue to grow and provide more recreational opportunities for both youth and adults in the community,” said Steve Tobin, president of the association. “This expansion of land is part of the association’s history and will be enjoyed for years to come.”
