The Northeast Bank branch at Poland Crossing at 1399 Maine St. in Poland has been chosen by the Poland Community and Economic Development Committee to receive the Quarterly Excellence in Business Award. The branch is one of 10 in the area. In addition to bank employees volunteering at local events, such as Heritage Day, Northeast Bank has made donations to Camp Connor to help with maintenance and repairs, as well as the Waterhouse Brook Project that seeks to build a pedestrian bridge across Waterhouse Brook Dam. Northeast Bank also supports the Bikes for Kids fund drive and a local food bank. Northeast Bank employees include, from left, Heather Delamater, Shannon Dillon and Jane Piccininni.
