The Upton Ladies Aid will host a Baked Bean Supper Saturday, Sept. 22, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The menu will include; Baked beans and franks, dinner rolls, corn bread and corn fritters, potato salad and desserts. Donations will be accepted.
Seven members of the Upton Historical attended the biennial election meeting Sunday. All of the officers were reelected for another two year term.
Twenty-two members and guests of Letter B Notch Riders went on a club ride Saturday. The ages of the rider ranged from 10 years old to seventy “something.” They left from Grimaldi Field in Andover and had a fun, scenic ride that included Devil’s Den, Coos Canyon, Roxbury wind towers and a drive by of Andover Satellite Station. After seven plus hours of easy riding, they returned to their vehicles and then went home to relax, regenerate and eat supper.
The first (calendar) day of autumn is coming soon, Saturday, Sept. 22.
