Democrat Jarrod Golden wants to work for the people of Maine’s 2nd District. I think it is reasonable to look at how hard the past two Democrat congressmen worked for Maine as a predictor of how hard another Democrat will work.

During his 12 years in Congress, Mike Michaud, passed 11 bills, which includes two to rename post offices. Before him, John Baldacci had zero bills pass the House after serving for eight years in Congress. Both had considerable experience in political office prior to going to Washington.

An average of one bill per two-year term in Congress for Democrats working for the people of Maine.

In just his second term alone, Bruce Poliquin has had six bills pass Congress. He had no political experience. He is a businessman and a productive worker.

Why would voters want to send another Democratic politician to Washington?

Greg Poliquin, Auburn
