REDINGTON TOWNSHIP — Rescuers were sent to help an injured 24-year-old woman on the Appalachian Trail on Tuesday afternoon.
Two game wardens were assisting firefighters and others, Cpl. John MacDonald, spokesman for the Maine Warden Service, said in a text.
The report of an injured hiker came in about 2:01 p.m.
