When I first started to vote, it was one mark for governor, one for another candidate for another office and another mark for another candidate’s office. So on down the line. Now, people can put numbered choice marks for each candidate for governor (four this year), and numbered marks for each candidate for any office.

To my way of thinking, that is wrong, and I voted against ranked choice voting.

OK, so I am past 70 years of age, but after reading the Sun Journal article (Sept. 26) saying “maybe the second vote will win …” I still say no. That is wrong, and I will still make one mark down the line for each candidate I support.

To my way of thinking, my vote better count.
