A Lewiston police officer and Public Works employees lift a lamppost that was toppled at Chestnut and Lisbon streets early Monday evening. Police Lt. David St. Pierre said a 2010 Toyota Camry driven by Ahmed Mohamed, 19, of Auburn and a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Robert Godfrey, 64, also of Auburn, collided at the intersection, taking out the post. One person was taken to a hospital, and both vehicles were towed, St. Pierre said. (Chris Williams/Sun Journal)
