LEWISTON — The Oasis of Music will host singer-songwriter Stan Davis in a free concert from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Church, 247 Bates St.
Davis plays and sings a mix of traditional and original songs, from the blues to lyrical hymns about modern country life, from songs about reincarnation to love songs. He weaves storytelling, intricate guitar playing and evocative lyrics full of poetic imagery. With two CDs to his credit, “Step to the Music You Make” and “All They Know,” Davis showcases his empathetic look at this American life in song.
