PORTLAND – Ann Doris Whitten, 50, of Auburn, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Maine Medical Center after struggling with diabetes for the last thirty years.

Ann was born in Lewiston, Maine on July 17, 1968 the daughter of Roland and Pauline (Levesque) Giguere.

Everyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with Ann had a nickname and a good laugh. She was known for her sense of humor and love of people. Ann will be missed by all who knew her from her early years on Pownal Road to her final years at Edgewood Nursing Facility.

She is survived by her mother Pauline of Florida; her daughter Samantha Whitten and her boyfriend Zachery; her sister Sue and her husband Daniel Chabot; her brothers Michael Giguere and his wife Brenda, Roland Giguere, Mark Giguere and his companion Lynne Profenno; seven nieces; one nephew; and thirteen great nieces and nephews who she always lovingly harassed for kisses and hugs.

She was predeceased by her father Roland Giguere; and her sisters Paula and Donna Giguere.
