LEWISTON — Geiger participated in the sixth annual Next Step Maine Employees of Promise Scholarship Program, nominating three associates for scholarship awards to support the completion of a degree or certificate.

The promotional products distributor is a Next Step Maine employer engaged in the Maine Development Foundation’s statewide employers’ initiative to advance the skills and education of Maine’s workforce.

Ronald Seguin, accounts receivable specialist, received a 2018 Next Step Maine Employee of Promise scholarship to support his pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management at the University of Maine at Augusta.

Dawn LaPrell, business systems analyst II, received a 2018 Next Step Maine Employee of Promise scholarship to support her pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems at the University of Maine at Augusta.

Jordan Bourgoin, assistant program manager, received a 2018 Next Step Maine Employee of Promise scholarship to support his pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in information technology at Purdue Global University.

This year’s recipients were selected from 11 employer nominations from a variety of Maine companies and many educational institutions.
