Marion N. Toothaker
CHESAPEAKE, VA – Marion Nellie Toothaker, 82, died October 1, 2018.
Marion was born in Brewer, Maine, to the late Percy and Hazel Kent Downs. She was a homemaker, lifetime care giver to “Billy”, former 12-year resident of Oxford Meadows, and a faithful member of Grace Fellowship Church in Oxford, Maine. Marion enjoyed family get togethers, spending time with “her ladies”, vacations, doing puzzles, and cooking for her family.
She was predeceased by her husbands, George Toothaker, Jr. and Walter Toothaker; son, Steven Toothaker; and siblings, Barbara Berg, Thelma Sensequa, Donald Downs, Virginia Currier, and Cynthia Wilcox.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children James Toothaker of Buckfield, ME, William “Billy” Toothaker of Norway, ME, Karen Nelson (Joe) of Oxford, ME, David Toothaker (Patti) of Waterford, ME, and Lisa Burch (Paul) of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Kerstin, Ryan, David, Juanita, Amanda, Crystal, Joshua, Daniel, Jessica, Cody, Brandon, Danielle, Justin, Lindsay, Robin, and Stacey; thirty-two great grandchildren; the entire Toothaker and Swett families, and a host of friends.
A Life Celebration service will be held Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Oxford, Maine. Express condolences to the family at www.altmeyerfh.com.
