Patricia Eileen “Patty” (Koss) Smith
1959 – 2018

WINFIELD, Kan. – On the morning of Wednesday, Oct.10, 2018, Patricia Eileen “Patty” (Koss) Smith Blake was taken by a reckless driver that swayed in front of the vehicle she and another female passenger (friend) were in and struck head on. Both of their lives and ours has changed forever as neither one of them is with us anymore. Patty was born on Oct. 21, 1959 in Lewiston, the daughter of Lionel and Kathleen (Traynor) Koss.

Patricia had many hobbies including shopping, decorating, painting and crafts. We treasured her most for her endearing personality, charm, warmth and laughter. She always worked hard at whatever she did.We were all very grateful to have her in our lives. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her father, Lionel “Lee” Koss; her son, David Smith and his companion, Marcy Laturno; her daughter, Kelly Higgins and her husband, Seth, her two brothers; Robert Koss and his companion, Vanessa DSouza, and Wayne Koss, her three sisters; Pamela Fournier, Nancy Matthews and her companion Greg Webber, and Kathy Molloy, her grandchildren; Griffen Smith, Caden Cox and Marshall Higgins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Kathleen (Traynor) Koss.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday Oct. 22, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Holy Family Church. Committal Services to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday Oct. 21, 2018 from 4-6 p.m., at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston.
