RUMFORD — Hundreds found their way to the annual River Valley Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, which featured warm fall weather.

The event was moved to the Hosmer Field Complex because of the downtown construction in Rumford, but the new venue proved to be a tremendous success.

Several festivities were added to the event this year, including live bands Cooper County and Skosh, a touch-a-truck show and live magic from Scot Grassette.

Starting off the event was a parade organized by the Rumford Fire Department.

There were five bounce houses for children and adults, a corn-hole game/tourney, a pumpkin catapult and a giant pumpkin chucker.

There were over 67 vendor tents and lots of great fair food. The evening featured fireworks and a bonfire.

The event was coordinated by Gaskyl Productions at InkMaine and EnvisionRumford.
