We don’t usually write letters to a newspaper, but we think it is important to share why we are supporting Doretta Colburn to represent our district in the State House come Nov. 6.
Colburn has listened to our frustration and concerns regarding access to health care and the need for expansion of Medicaid to be completed. Funding for education is a concern and we are dismayed at the need for food pantries in all our schools due to food insecurity in our community.
It is time for a new voice in Augusta and we believe that Colburn is the best choice for our district. We believe that she will be a responsive, ethical leader in the State House and hope other voters in our district join us in support of Doretta Colburn on Nov. 6.
