Lewiston has a recent history of sending superb legislators to Augusta, ones who know how important it is to work across the aisle: Peggy Rotundo, Margaret Craven, Nate Libby, Jared Golden, to name a few.
Now there is another superior candidate on the horizon, one who has shown her ability to work across ideological divides on the Lewiston City Council, resulting in her election by her colleagues as City Council president.
On Nov. 6, voters in District 60 have the opportunity to elect Kristen Cloutier to the Legislature, where she can continue to work for the city and the state, providing a clear example of constructive dialogue across party lines.
For me, it will be an honor to cast my vote on Nov. 6 for Kristen Cloutier.
Dick Wagner, Lewiston
