Doris M. Pelletier
1926 – 2018
Rumford – Doris M. Pelletier, 92, formerly of High St., passed away on Monday October 29, 2018 at Rumford Community Home.
She was born in Rumford on September 28, 1926, a daughter of Placide and Marie (Bourque) Richard.
Doris was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior.
She loved knitting, crocheting, gardening, playing cards, and cooking.
Doris loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter Janet Blaha of Rockwall, TX., son Jerry Pelletier of Mexico, brother, Aurelle Richard of Leominster, MA., grandchildren; Aaron Austin, Kimberly Strubel, great grandchildren; Jack Strubel, Cody Strubel, Sydney Austin, Juliana Austin, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Omer, son in law Robert Blaha, sister Anita Duphilly, brother Ernest Richard.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rumford Community Home and Beacon Hospice for the wonderful care given to Doris.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 pm Saturday November 3, 2018 at Parish of the Holy Savior. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
