BUCKFIELD — Residents on Tuesday passed a Planning Board ordinance that includes three major changes.
The changes call for:
• Reducing the number of members to five from seven.
• Reducing the length of terms to three years from five.
• Not requiring monthly meetings.
Five-year terms will be phased out as they expire, Town Manager Joe Roach said.
After a period of inactivity, the Planning Board has enough members to have a quorum and has met recently.
