Sabattus Legion plans poker tourney
SABATTUS — Post 135, American Legion, will host a Texas hold ’em tournament on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 40 Island Road.
The public is invited. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and games will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Buy-in is $35, with an optional $5 for high hand. There will also be a 50/50. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

Concert to benefit homeless
LEWISTON — A concert to benefit the St. Martin de Porres Residence for homeless men and the St. Catherine of Siena Residence for homeless women will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.
Tickets will be $10 for adults and free for children 12 and younger.
