LEWISTON – Richard “Al” Conway, 83, devote husband passed on July 15, 2018. His loving wife, Lise Andree Conway, 79, on Oct. 7, 2018, both of 11 Shirley Avenue, Lewiston, Maine. A true love story that spanned over 60 years.

Al would hitchhike from the Navy base in Brunswick to see his sweetheart Lise, owner of a small beauty parlor in Auburn. Starting off as a U.S. Navy family (23 years) and finishing as a papermaker in Jay, Maine, they traveled the world. Long time members of The First Assembly of God Church they lived by example sharing and caring with love and kindness. Their legacy is the many lives they touched. No one ever left the family house hungry or in need.

They will be extremely missed by all.

Children, Dean Conway, (Alice Conway deceased) and son, Richard (Glynnis) Nadel; daughter, Lisa (Steve) Bachelder and children, Chantelle Bachelder, Michelle (Mark) Dayton; children, Mason and Marlow, Stefaney (Joshua) Goupille and Fernona; son, Craig Conway and daughter, Chloe Conway. Lise is survived by sisters, Rita Mathew, Georgette True, Jacqueline Conway. Al by sisters, Glenda Davis and Lois Conway.

A celebration of life for both Al and Lise will be held, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m., at First Assembly of God Church, 70 Hogan Road, Lewiston.
