Lorraine Turcotte, right, vice president of Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union, presents a donation check to Ending Hunger in Maine advocate and walker Brenda Davis, who is executive director of BBC Opportunity Center in Old Town. Each year Davis partners with Maine’s credit unions to travel daily by foot and car to raise funds to end hunger in Maine. This year she will visit 96 credit unions in 90 communities. She visited the Lisbon community Nov. 9 and was presented with donation checks totaling $367. The money received during the walking campaign goes to a food pantry in each credit union’s community.
