CANTON  –  Keith Alan  Driscoll, 59, left us to continue his journey early Sunday morning, Nov. 25, at home on Meadowview Road in Canton.

He was born March 18, 1959 in Norwood, Mass., the son of Garth L. and Marion J. (Hixson) Driscoll.  He attended Edward Little High School in Auburn.  He worked mostly as an equipment operator for construction.  One position he did enjoy was as a workgroup supervisor for Rural Community Action Ministry in Leeds where he worked with volunteer groups from all over the United States to help keep residents in the RCAM service area safe in their homes. He loved working with the groups and made quite a few friends from these contacts. He left Maine to manage campgrounds in Florida, Wisconsin and New Jersey before returning to Maine to settle again.

He enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting, tinkering with all his small engine equipment and his vehicles. He especially enjoyed his time with his good friend Pete Brown of Leeds, if he wasn’t at home that is where you would find him.

He is survived by his companion, Rebecca St. Laurent of Canton. Children: Daughter and husband, Danielle and Nate Miller of Hebron, son and partner, Keith Driscoll and Jennifer Parsons of Winter Garden, Florida, daughter and partner, Denika and Martin of Florida. Grandchildren: Ruby, Andrew, Kloie, Kayden and Ava. Siblings: Ardith Pelletier, Nancy and Paul Liming, Faye and Steve McCullough, Leslie and Rob Budd, Kevin and Kathy Driscoll, Marian and Kevin Overby along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Keith was predeceased by his parents, Garth L. and Marion J. Driscoll and Grandson, Christopher.

Keith’s request was for no service.

He was fond of St. Jude’s Hospital, if you would like to make a contribution in his name or to the organization that you hold most near and dear to your heart.
