MONMOUTH — Monmouth Middle School is holding the annual Stuff the Bus community food drive Saturday.
All food donated to the “bus” goes to local families who are in need over the holidays.
From 9 to 11 a.m., MMS students will be at the Cumston Hall on Main Street to accept food. Items of need include: peanut butter, crackers, canned vegetables and fruits, pasta, tomato sauce, cookie and cake mixes, gravy mix, pudding, Jell-O, stuffing, cranberry sauce or other nonperishable foods.
Please do not bring in items or containers that are made of glass, dented cans, baby food or formula, perishable food, household cleaning products, pet food or food that has expired.
All food will go to the Cottrell Taylor Christmas baskets. Any extra food will be donated to Monmouth’s food pantries.
