Wisdom’s Women seeks volunteers
LEWISTON — The Center for Wisdom’s Women is seeking volunteer applicants for Companions.The companion role requires women to have a professional background in social work, teaching, nursing, chaplaincy or other related fields. Companions will work with local women.

Gingerbread house building event to be held
FREEPORT — The Freeport Community Library will host a holiday event for folks to assemble and decorate their own gingerbread houses from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12.
This event is for ages 5 and up. Adult supervision required for children under 11. Craft is limited to 30 and sign-up is required.
