LEWISTON – Constance Theresa McGillicuddy, 86, of Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 28, 2018, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Lewiston, on April 24, 1932, a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Agnes (McCarthy) McGillicuddy. She attended St. Joseph’s Elementary School and graduated from Lewiston High School in the class of 1950.

She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital for 42 years and at Bates College for approximately 10 years. She lived in Lewiston her entire life, the last three at Russell Park Manor. While living there she developed a wonderful close relationship with a fellow resident, Dorothy Kidder.  She loved caring for Dorothy right up to the time of Dorothy’s passing, just a few weeks ago.

Constance is survived by her sister, Mary LaPlante and husband, Norm of Sabattus; nieces, Sharon Harrison and Susan LaPlante-Dube of Massachusetts; grandniece, Madeleine LaPlante-Dube, grandnephews, Kevin Cote, Noah LaPlante-Dube and Ethan LaPlante-Dube.

Visitation will be held on Saturday at The Fortin Funeral Home in Lewiston from 2-4 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow at The Fortin Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Committal Services will be held at Mt.
