LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will present its next Professional Development Series seminar from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St.
The topic is Sexual Harassment Awareness Training for Small Employers, by Rebecca Webber, attorney at Skelton, Taintor and Abbott.
The workshop will be helpful for managers and owners of small businesses, and organizations with a focus on how to reduce the risk of harassment claims and do the training that Maine law requires.
Cost is $25 for chamber members; $50 for nonmembers. It is recommended to register early as space is limited to 30 attendees. Notification 48 hours in advance is necessary to cancel registration, otherwise, no refunds will be issued.
Lunch will not be provided; those attending are welcome to theirs.
