I am advocating for former Congressman Bruce Poliquin to relinquish his seat so Congressman-elect Jared Golden can proceed to serve the state of Maine. I am in hopes for a smooth transition so constituent services can continue.
During the past two years, I have contacted Congressman Poliquin’s office on a variety of issues. To his credit, I heard from him in a timely basis; but the responses consistently did not have anything to do with the issue I contacted his office about. Directly answering questions seemed to be a challenge during interviews and debates as well.
I thank Congressman Poliquin for his service to the state of Maine, but the best way to continue serving this state now is to pass the reins to Congressman-elect Golden.
