SABATTUS – Sarah West Toothaker, 87, of Sabattus, died on Nov. 30, 2018, at Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston. She was born on Sept. 25, 1931, to parents, Nathanial and Kathleen West.
Sarah was a member of the Sabattus Community Baptist Church, and enjoyed crafts, cooking, yard sale shopping, spending time with family and friends. She was the owner of Hilltop Ceramics.
Predeceasing her were husband, Roe Toothaker; parents, Nathanial and Kathleen West; brother, Nathanial (Jerry) West, and sister, Jean Taylor. She is survived by three children: Cynthia J. Black and husband, Les, Gregory D. Toothaker and wife, Nancy, Lynn W. Springer and husband, Craig; six grandsons; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Winona Cote.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sarah to your local animal rescue or Humane Society.
