LEWISTON — Rhoby Treadwell, who worked for 26 years with the Internal Revenue Service, has been selected to serve as the 2019 site coordinator for the Lewiston-Auburn CA$H Coalition.
The multi-partner coalition was established by the city of Lewiston in 2003 to provide free tax preparation and asset coaching to low- and moderate-income families/individuals, and to promote the Earned Income Tax Credit for those who are eligible.
The tax preparation site will be open at the Lewiston Armory from Feb. 2 to April 13. Training for volunteer tax preparers will be led by Treadwell and coalition co-chairwoman Chris Adler of Promise Early Education, in early January.
