First up: FMG Enterprises of New England has expanded from a home office in Auburn to Pleasant Street in Lewiston, into the former home of Black Bear Ladder.
The eight-year-old family-owned company specializes in maintenance and repair for retail box stores in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and into Rhode Island, according to Operations Manager Brandon Russell.
“It could be Sheetrock, it could be changing out doors, changing out windows, concrete floor repairs; anything the retail box store needs done, we can do,” he said. “We have a wide variety of talented guys.”
Russell said the business had gotten to the point that it needed more space. The timing worked perfectly with Black Bear Ladder’s move to new quarters in Lisbon.
FMG has 12 employees. Three crews are based in Massachusetts, three in Maine.
“It’s a real big deal for the owner, Ryan Campbell,” Russell said. “He’s done a lot to build the company up. His vision is every one of our employees’ vision.”
