LEWISTON – Joseph R. Provencher, 80, of Lewiston, passed away at CMMC on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018. Joe was born in Lewiston on Sept. 9, 1938, a son of the late Emile and Marie (Bizier) Provencher.

Joe enjoyed camping, where he would catch up with old friends. He and his nephew, Jimmy took many boat rides together. Joe worked as a driver for Fisc, Lamey Wellehan and for Tall Pines Apartments.

Joe is survived by his daughters, Cathy Landry and husband, Peter, Tammy Hall and husband, Larry, four grandchildren, Chad, Alex, Joe and Katie, as well as two great-grandchildren, Damien and Maddisin.

Joe was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Provencher; and his brother, Normand Provencher.

A memorial gather will be held at Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, on Saturday, December 15, from 2-5 p.m. Services are under the direction of Funeral Alternatives, 25 Tampa St. Lewiston, www.funeralalternatives.net
