Free, public ice skating open
WEST PARIS — The town has announced that there is now ice skating, free and open to the public, at the Town Hall on 25 Kingsbury St. For more information, call 207-674-2701.
Association’s meeting moved up
AUBURN — The United New Auburn Association will be meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Rolly’s Diner. The the reason for that date is because Christmas falls on thefollowing Tuesday, which is the normally scheduled meeting.
The Neighborhood Watch meeting at the Sixth Street Congregational Church will be held Thursday, Dec. 27.
Cribbage league results released
LEWISTON — Cribbage results for the Lewiston Senior Cribbage League for the week of Dec. 13 are:
First place, Gene Brown and Dick Eccles; second place, Bob Masse and Cecilia Treworgy; third place, Pauline Blaist; fourth place, Hope Hughes; fifth place, Bob Cielinski and Maurice Gagne.
Potluck dinner, discussion at Lifetree
LEWISTON — The importance of coming together with loved ones and nurturing relationships will be highlighted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 at Lifetree Cafe, 1919 Lisbon Road. There will be a potluck dinner before the talk at 5:30. Bring a dish to share.
The program,“Come Together: The Healing Power of Friends and Family,”
features a German film about the heartwarming, albeit unorthodox, efforts of a
grandfather to bring his family together during the holidays.
