NORWAY — Local art collective House Lorax invites the general public to the first Friday Blindman’s Ball on Jan. 4 at 290 Main St., second floor.

Join House Lorax for an evening of creative performance art, including creative dance, music, live art and more, all while viewing their gallery, full of hung art from local artists.

Featured local artists in January:

Angela Coron – A mother, farmer, chocolate enthusiast and artist who is full of life and energy. Her work brings sensuality and feminine energy to the walls of House Lorax.

Daniel Rennie – A father, actor, artist and much more. Rennie’s art is warm and full of depth and emotion.

Hannah Gentempo – A dancer, massage therapist, vintage clothing shop owner and an artist. Gentempo enjoys making collages of all kinds, themes and ideas, with vintage inspiration in her clothing and art on display.

Tegan Bullard – A dog mom, longtime dancer and peaceful advocate. Her artwork reflects her values and morals with inspiration from her love for dance and kind spirit.

There are three gallery rooms full of art to explore, a full dance studio, a room for live art and painting, a hookah lounge for relaxation, a kitchen to share food and conversation, and a fully equipped band room to enjoy local musicians playing throughout the night.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the event will run until roughly 1 to 2 a.m. There is no charge for this event although donations are welcome at the door. This is a cannabis-friendly event.
