RUMFORD – On Jan. 3, 2019, Edmund N. Duguay, 63, of Rumford, lost his battle with life, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He was born on Jan. 14, 1955, in Rumford, the son of Robert and Genevive (Garon) Duguay. Ed was educated in the schools of Rumford. In 1984, he married Darcia White in Farmington. Over the years, he worked at Bass Shoe, Morton Motors, and Foster Manufacturing. Ed enjoyed restoring cars and carpentry projects. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be sorely missed by many.

Ed is survived by his wife, Darcia Duguay of Rumford; son, Ed Duguay II of Winthrop; daughter, Nichole Rogers of Augusta; brothers, Andrew Gerrier and wife, Cathy, of Livermore Falls, Thomas Gerrier and wife, Phyllis, of Industry; grandchildren, Damon, Jacey, Brayden, Lillian, Abigail, Margaret and Elenor; and many cherished family members and loved ones. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Gerrier.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, Maine.
