Farmington Police Chief Jack Peck Jr., right, presents Detective Marc Bowering with the Farmington Police Department Employee of the Year award for 2018. The annual award is given to any full-time employee who stands well above other employees in the performance of their duties. Peck noted that Bowering always strives to meet the mission statement: “To create a feeling of safety for the people within the town of Farmington.” Peck also noted that Bowering is extremely dedicated and works without any complaint on any task assigned to him.
