DAVENPORT, Fla. – Mr. Donald A. Gallant, 74, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, in Davenport, Fla. He was formerly of 
Rumford, Maine.
Born in Rumford, Maine, on June 22, 1944. He was the son of Earl and Rita (McKenna) Gallant. Don was a graduate of Stephens High School, class of 1962. He worked as a firefighter for the Town of Rumford for over 30 years and also worked for MED-CARE Ambulance for 12 years.
Don was married in Mexico, Maine, on March 16, 1996, to Kim Gallant who survives of Davenport, Fla. Other survivors include a son, Jonathan of Melbourne, Fla.; a daughter, Kathleen Gallant of Rumford; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle.

Funeral services will be held in summer time at the family’s convenience. Arrangements are under the direction of the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, Maine.
