Bowdoin College Museum of Art, 255 Maine St. in Brunswick, will hold Field Note Friday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Pavilion. Bowdoin lab instructors Elizabeth Halliday Walker and Shana Stewart Deeds will lead their monthly public program, including field-sketching local ecological specimens such as “Spotted Water Hemlock,” a watercolor by Kate Furbish. The work is included in the exhibition “Kate Furbish and Edwin Hale Lincoln: New England Botanical Studies.” For more information, call 207-725-3000.
