YORK – Erica J. (Webber) O’Donnell, 36, passed away on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019.

Erica was born on Feb. 5, 1982 in Bath. She grew up in Farmingdale, where she excelled in academics, field hockey, and track. She still holds the 800 meters record to this day. She went on to study at the University of New Hampshire where she received her undergraduate degree in nursing. She then received her MBA in Health Care Administration from Walden University, and worked at York Hospital for the last eight years.

In addition to being with her family, Erica loved running, gardening, cooking, and being outside with her dogs. She spent many hours on the trails and beaches of Southern Maine with them. In everything she did, our beautiful Erica was an incredible caretaker and teacher. Everyone’s life she touched, from family to friends to patients to strangers, is better for it.

Erica will be missed beyond words by so many: her husband, Chris O’Donnell, and their kids, Justin and Erin O’Donnell, of York; her parents, Deborah and Mike Burns of Winthrop, and Kirk Webber and Peter Chandler of Arrowsic; her sister, Amy Landry of Auburn, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Nick and Shira Burns of Saco and Andrew and Audra Burns of Portland; her nieces and nephews, Alex, Maddie, Lydia, Jackson, and Analiese Landry of Auburn and Connolly Burns of Saco; her grandparents, Ken and Jean Wilson of Brunswick; aunt and cousins, Kimberly, Kristen and Bailey Nitz of Gray, uncle, Mitchell Wilson of Freeport; and many, many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 2-6 p.m. in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., York. Visit www.lucaseatonfuneralhome.com
