NEW GLOUCESTER — Join in on an evening of acoustic and electric blues roots music with Jere “Lunchpail” Diwaters and Jeff Christiansen with Chad Sirois and Rob Babson.
J & J’s Big Nite o’ Blues starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Village Coffee House, First Congregational Church, 19 Gloucester Hill Road.
This show will serve up both traditional country blues stylings from the likes of Mississippi Fred McDowell and the Memphis Jug Band, and the Chicago blues of Sonny Boy Williamson and Litte Walter, along with other roots music as well.
Tickets cost $10 and coffee and snacks will be provided.
